My fantastic holiday

Kia ora, talofa and welcome back to my blog. Today my blog post is about my wonderful dear writing. In writing I have been writing about my wonderful holidays. In writing me and my class have been working on a sense of place, what we can smell, feel, see, hear and sometimes taste. We have also been working on what we think of our writing, so its clearly what we think of our own feedback. Also our orientation, an orientation is the introduction and that is the start of your own writing. I am really proud of my introduction so I am sharing it with all of you and here it is.

My Fantastic holiday

It was a beautiful bright sunny day in July the 12. I was at the beautiful park playing with my good friends because I was really bored and there was nothing else to do.

Lovely Soloist

Hello guys and today I am going to be talking about Soloists. last week I tried out and sung in front of my choir teacher in my classes quiet room to be a soloists for my choir.

There was seven people that tried out and I was the third person to sing to the teacher. I was really nervous. But then I realised that if I make it in to be a soloist I have to sing in front of a lot of people. So I have to get used to it and be brave.  

I sung to Miss D the teacher and I felt so proud of myself. After I sang she said really nice things to me so I said thank you. After school what I did was that I told my mum about it and she went crazy, she was so, so, so, so, proud of me. Since I told her that and she was so proud, she told my to show her how I sang it and she loved it and I hope you love this blog post .

Digital ignition

Hello I am going to be talking about Digital Ignition. I have been working on Digital ignition for one day of each week. there was three weeks but I missed one, so unfortunately I will just tell you what I know. I have been learning how to use scratch junior, it is really fun. We all use it for one thing one day. What I did on my first week I went on scratch and was making a slide about Maui and the sun. Today I did a slide on scratch about recycling. It is really fun to learn. Here is two pictures that you would like to see, I hope you like it.

Winter Sports

In winter, there will be a game of winter sports each Friday. A few weeks before we started winter sports we got to pick a sports game and we each picked two just encase one of the teams are full. I am pretty sure that's the reason. Anyway, I picked rugby and football. I ended up in the football team and so far it has been Amazing. But the bummer is that sports today has been cancelled.  In the morning I had woken up at 8 o'clock and I had to spend most of my time finding my sports uniform. It was so hard. I was looking and looking and still couldn't find it so I just had to leave it at home. But as soon as I got into the car I found it. I was so glad I found it and the weird thing about it is that I was early. Anyway on my way to class my friend told me that there was no sports. I got so frustrated and angry so later on I played with my friends and calmed down. I said to myself... " At least I was not late,"

Genius Hour Time

Hello guys, I am here to talk about my genius hour that I have done for that past few weeks. What I did for genius hour was sewing and it was so fun. 

Today I made a stuffed fish just with the materials that are needles, fabric, string and paper. 

The paper looked like a fish and I put the paper on the fabric so I could cut the fabric to look just like the paper fish. I did that twice and the two fabric were sewed by me then I left the tail so that I can stuff the rest of the fabric into the fish and it can look like a 3D fish here are the results.

My Cool Diorama

Hello I am going to be talking about my awesome diorama. Now our dioramas are based on Samoa and Tonga. It was an optional choice so I chose Samoa. I had a buddy and her name is Rhyleigh. She is a really nice helper and she is a good friend. Anyway, I have been working on this for the whole 9 weeks.

Rhyleigh and I used cotton wool, fishing net, clay, feathers, paper, little strings and twigs

 Ryleigh and I are proud of what we have created. I hope you like it.
