Hello everyone and in today's blog post I am going to be showing you my poem that I have done. So my class is involved in the GET NZ writing and we are writing poems based on William Carlos Williams poem This is just to say.
I really enjoyed reading your poem. I can see how you were inspired by the original poem. The line about saving the sugar for the cereal made me giggle. I could imagine the person's face as they opened the sugar container to find it all gone.
Do you think you will keep writing poems? I hope so.
Hey Sophia! I love your poem, This is just to say! I think it is pretty good! In my family I'm not allowed to have sugar on my cereal! Maybe next time you could highlight in blue all the changes you made? Good job Sophia!
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say 3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Kia ora Sophia,
