Camp Living Springs
It was Wednesday morning and I could see and hear the
birds chirping outside on a summer’s day. As I woke up I went
to my two sister’s room and I woke one of my sisters up. It was
Ella! I then said “Wake up Ella, it’s camp time,”

“ Ohhh,”
“ Yup so get up get ready,” We got up and and got dressed.
We did our school routine but without uniform. Ps. that was
awesome, “Yes, we are finally wearing mufti,” I said.

“Whatever,” said Ella. We were finally really and set to go to
school. “That’s not fair Ella and Sophia get to go on camp, I
want to go,”

“You can’t Taya, you just have to deal with it. Mums birthday is
soon and you can celebrate by going out with her,” We then
went to school and I played with my friends. I saw my friend
Jayda and she said “do you want to see my slow back bend?

“Sure,” I said. I was wanted seconds after so I wasn’t able to
watch her. Korimako was sent into the middle space witch is
called Aotearoa, the parents collected all the bags and put them
in a separate bus to all of the other children. Everybody still
had their day packs with them all ready to go. We all got in our
home groups and went into a bus each at a time. I was so excited
and I was in front of Taylor. We both went past one of the buses
that was full of bags and it took all of the sets up. Well that’s was

“Wow,” said Taylor, we the got into the bus. I was talking to
Taylor and then noticed my friend Shelby was knocking on the
window looking sad because we were going in a separate bus
from each other. I was a bit sad to, but, I still had Taylor to talk
too. The bus then started to move and we were looking outside
the window and saw so many flash houses. We went past another
school named Waitakiri School. A few minutes after, the bus
went past my dad’s old house that we were moving out of. I told
my teacher, Mr. Bell and Taylor about it. I can easily remember
that we went past eight horses and four pukekos. We went past
governors bay and them we finally got to the farm park. But the
teachers thought it was a good idea that we could go back to
governors bay and WALK all the way back to the farm park.
We saw so many cool animals, and since I am an animal lover, I
loved to see all of the animals. I was a bit disappointed when we
were told to walk the rest of the way to camp living springs.
I was devastated about it, sad, trembling, angry. We were walking
and one more hill to go till we get to camp. It was so steep that
my friend Shelby slipped up but didn’t even get a scratch!
We started to walk backwards and it worked until we got to the
top. “Were finally THERE,” I said proudly to Shelby
“Were there, were there,” I ran and ran as fast as I could,
well not As fast as I could, I was going uphill. But we finally
got there and I was about to think I was going to die…
but i didn’t, and now I am back here at school. I really liked
going to camp except for the walk. Luck on the way back to the
farm it was down hill, and, we all got picked up by a bus from
the farm park. It was awesome! I felt really relieved that we
didn’t have to walk the rest of the way, and so happy that
I went to camp. It was the shortest and coolest camp that I have
ever been to. I feel alive and me, and we also got yummy food,
every morning tea and afternoon tea we would all get a piece of
cake and a fruit. It was amazingly awesome yummy delicious
and fantastic, I loved it.
LOVED IT ! Taylor and then noticed my friend Shelby was knocking on the
