Tundra!

Hey guys and this is my third blog post today and today's blog post is about Tundra. Tundra is an area of land. I am going to write down a letter to my dear friend named Susie and it is going to be about me imagining that I went to Tundra with my school. She is a really good friend so that is the reason why I am writing a letter to her. I am so excited so I am going to just get started!

Dear Susie,
I had a really fun time with the school going to Tundra and I was so amazed that there were no trees at all. I saw lots of interesting things there like really cool mountains and pictures of little lakes.
It was so amazing and ridiculously beautiful. I tried to spend as much time there as if it was the last time I would never see it again ( I was to never going to see it ever again ). I loved it there and since you are my friend and you are in the same school you would have went there and I beat you would have had a good time as well. To be honest I loved it there I had the best time there and I had FUN.

About Logging!

Hey guys and today's blog post is about Logging. If you don't know what logging is then it is when people chopping down trees. I am going to tell you whether I think there should or shouldn't have this kind of my job in New Zealand. Once I have told you my "opinion" I will give you two reasons that will support my "opinion" whether there should or shouldn't be loggers in New Zealand.

I think there shouldn't be a job like logging. 

Reason 1. There are animals that live in tree and they would have to leave there home.

Reason 2. Taking down trees are bad for the environment!

Sand Hotel Wow

Hi guys and I'm here with another blog post involved from Slg. This blog post is a day late because I was supposed to post this blog post yesterday. This blog post is about hotels, when I mean by hotel I mean if I could build a hotel with anything I wanted what would it be? Also I am going to tell you where that hotel would be. For example, what country would it be in? Anyways, I would love to have a hotel made of sand because then the sand hotel could be right by the beach and people could easily go to the beach and have fun. I have a google drawing of one of my rooms from my hotel, so here is a picture of what one of my sand rooms look like from my hotel. Hope you like it!

Shepard's Pie

Hey guys and I am here with another summer learning journey blog post. What I am going to do is tell you my favourite type of food and then tell you how to make it. My favourite food it Shepard's Pie. Here is how you can make it and that will be how you will get a good meal. 

Shepard's Pie!!

- Cook mince in frying pan until properly cooked (brown)

- Peel potatoes and boil in pot until it gets soft

- Once mince is cooked add flavouring ( Any is optional )

- After that let it simmer till it boils

- Mash some potatoes then add butter/salt and a cup of milk

- Get a big dish, put cooked mince on bottom and potatoes on top

- Then at some yummy cheese on for topping

- Put the Shepard's Pie in the oven let the cheese turn crispy gold.

How about WWF huh?

Hey guys and this last blog post I am doing tonight is about an endangered species that WWF is trying to help and that is the freshwater seals. The freshwater seals are what the WWF are trying to save and what they are doing to help them is to make the freshwater seals a bank. There are about 360 individuals left. The success they've made is that there making a snow bank for the seals and if the pups didn't have the snow bank, that would've meant the pups will be on open ice and they will have no chance of avoiding their predators. What about working about wildlife

Hey guys and here is another late time blog post that I am doing for my SLG blogging. This blog post that I am going to be doing is about working in wildlife and if I wanted to go there and three that are good about working in the wildlife and what is bad about working in the wildlife. Lets just get on with it shall we? Now, I would live to work in the wildlife because there are lost of animals that live there and I love animals. In fact, I have a dog ( at my dads house ). Anyways to the pros ( good things about working in the wildlife ), and the cons ( bad things about working in the wildlife ). My Weird looking beast

Hey guys and I am here with another blog post. This blog post is about my weird looking beast that I have made myself and created myself that I am fully proud of. I have finished my drawing ages ago and I totally forgot to post it on my blog so, that is why I have published it so late. Math question

Hey guys and today's blog post is about Giants among us. There is a tree named the Tane Muhuta, now I'm going to tell you if I wouldn't or would want to go there and why. 

I wouldn't go there because from my opinion the picture just looks like a normal tree but tall, wide and huge. I will even give you guys a picture of it. Its not that I hate it or dislike it, it is just that all you can do is look at it. Anyway here is the picture.

Hey guys, and today's blog post is about my top 3 facts that I know  about New Zealand. I am pretty exited for my teachers to look at this blog post because this is me starting my summer learning journey blog posts that start this year until next year, they might even be looking at this right now. Anyways I am just going to give you the three facts that I know well about New Zealand, here is goes.

Fact 1. The country named New Zealand is actually named Aotearoa in Maori.

Fact 2. The Capital city of new Zealand is Wellington but the largest city in New Zealand is Auckland.

Last But Not Least, Fact 2. The percentage of how much forest there is in New Zealand is 30%.

Christmas Song

Hey guys and today I am going to show you my song that I wrote with my to best buddy's that have helped me though the whole wonderful and hard journey. Their names are Quaid and Susie, they have helped my so, so much and I would say that they might have done more work that I have. They are really good helpers especially when it comes to music. Hey everybody and this blog post is about my beautiful writing and I think that it is fab. What do you think? the reason why I wanted to share this writing to all of you guys is because I think I have done a pretty good job of this and I thought you guys would think that too. There once lived a marvellous caterpillar that goes around houses and eats the leaves off other people's trees. It was beautiful, kind, precious and lovely. It was amazingly awesome.

Did you know that this caterpillar is not an ordinary caterpillar, this caterpillar can breath under water, and it can talk. I named it Patty. “ aaaa,” Patty said with a calm voice as she had her first bite of her breakfast. The breakfast was porridge, I didn’t know that caterpillars like porridge. “ This is amazing,” she said.

“I know,” I said,  “that’s because I made it,”

The next day I couldn’t find Patty. She was nowhere, so I looked for her under my bed, I shouted her name, I even asked my neighbours and they thought I was crazy. It was the afternoon and I still couldn’t find her. Later on, there came a butterfly. I could tell that it was a girl by it patterns. I feed it porridge and she liked it it could talk like Patty and she told me she can’t breath because her wings would get wet. That made me think, is it possible that Patty turned into a butterfly. So I asked her, and I said…

“ a a are you Patty,”

“ Of course I’m Patty,”

“YAY,”

SLG Practice

Technology!

Hey guys the reason why I am doing this blog post is because many company's make food packaging out of plastic. All this plastic is ending up in our environment.

W.A.L.T recreate and design our food package that will reduce waste!

That is why my class is making idea's by replacing or  recreating plastic with stuff like reusable bags or biodegradable plastic containers. That's what I am doing with my partner in technology. 

We both are trying to make a reusable, biodegradable plastic container and we are trying our best. We are getting on very well and our idea is really cool.

Armistice Day

I am going to tell you three things that caught my eye so here is one...

Thing 1. There were more than 16 thousand people who were killed and 41 thousand people injured.

Thing 2. Without World War 1 we all wouldn't have had Anzac day.

Thing 3.  Britain and France were at war with Germany and the fourth of August 1914 the great Britain declares war.

About Maui

Hey awesome people and today's blog post is about Maui. I have heard a story about Maui and the sun and there are a only few things that I know so please don't judge me if I get stuff wrong, I bet you guys weren't going to anyway because you guys are awesome. Especially you Emma because you have taught us stuff that are really interesting and that is why I am doing this blog post. I am pretty sure that Emma used this for an example or a suggestion to make a blog post about Maui so I took it and I am going to tell you guys three facts that I know about Maui.

Fact 1. Maui was annoyed because the sun was too fast and Maui didn't have enough time to work and have fun in the same day so he slowed down the sun.

Fact 2. Maui and his brothers had to eat and prepare for there evening meal because the sun was too fast.

The last but not least Fact 3. Maui had to get lost's of flacks to make the biggest rope in the world so he could catch the sun and tell it that it has been going around the world to fast and that it needs to go slower.

PAT comprehension and STAR test!!

Hey guys and welcome to another blog post and today's blog post is about PAT comprehension and STAR reading tests.

About my tests, my test are really important and that goes for every student in the world. The tests go from 10 out of 10's and 20 out of 20. I am really proud of my stanines for my STAR reading test.

At the start of the year for my PAT comprehension test from the start of the year is a stanine 6, and my goal is to get is a stanine 7. I am really proud of my stanine but I think I can go higher than the stanine I have now. What I'm going to do to get a stanine 7 is to skip the questions that I find hard and if I have more time I will go back to those questions and try to solve them.
